    BANDSTOP FILTER

    Deti offer both connectorized and Waveguide notch filters. Waveguide bandstop filter are used when a high power handling and very low insertion losses are needed.

    Connectorized filters are divided into two categories plannar (PCB) and mecanical. Mecanical Filters offers high end performances with low insertion losses and sharp rejections. However, being more affordable PCB filter can be a good alternative depending on your needs.

      27.5-31 Band Stop Filter

    A bandstop filter is design reject signals on a given bandwidth, called “stop band” and will let pass signals outside this stop band. Also known as notch filters, they are usually done by coupling quarter length resonators. The key parameters to look at when choosing/designing such a device are as follow:

    • Fmin and Fmax Rejected: the frequencies defining the bandwidth of the stop band. A level of rejection is also defined within this range.

    • Pass Band Fmin and Fmax (01/02): it defines the pass band both before and after the rejected bandwidth. Insertion losses and return losses are usually given within these frequency ranges.
